DESCRIPTION
With the DJI Osmo Action 3 Camera Standard Combo, you can record stable, high-definition video wherever you go. The Osmo Action 3 combines the best features from both of its predecessors, the Osmo Action and the Action 2. Using the camera's several recording choices, you can record up to 160 minutes of your daily activities, vlogging, sporting events, or travel trips. Up to DCI 4K60, UHD 4K120, and 1080p240 video may all be recorded by the camera, along with raw and JPEG still images. To allow for deeper dives and better underwater video, the Action 3 has now been improved to be waterproof to 52'.
Other features include three built-in microphones for stereo audio recording and live streaming, webcam compatibility, DJI Mic compatibility, and webcam functionality. The lens is composed of tough Gorilla Glass, which resists water, wear, and scratches in addition to allowing for deeper dives, and the body is impact-resistant up to 4.9'. When you are engaged in an activity that prevents you from controlling the camera, it gives voice control and speech cues. Additionally, it has a front and back colour OLED touchscreen, improved RockSteady 3.0 picture stabilisation, and the useful invisible selfie stick technology. You may charge the camera's battery up to 80% in less than 20 minutes thanks to its quick charging capabilities.
The Osmo Action 3 camera is included in this Standard Combo along with a USB Type-C charging cable, a high-capacity battery, a magnetic 3-prong mount, a protective frame, two rubber lens protectors, a quick release adapter mount, a flat adhesive base, and two rubber lens covers.
The camera features a 1/1.7" sensor to record up to 4K120 video and capture experiences in dynamic, smooth detail. A super-wide 155° FOV makes every scene more appealing, immersive, and memorable.
The Action 3's color temperature sensor intelligently adjusts white balance and auto-exposure for highly accurate colors, even in complex lighting environments like when scuba or free diving deep below the surface.
HDR video lets you pick up subtle highlight and shadow details. Even in high-contrast environments, 4K recording captures these nuances and soft lighting transitions. Stabilization modes can also be turned on when shooting in 4K HDR to effectively eliminate camera shake.
The Osmo Action 3's innovative quick-release design enhances impact resistance with the combination of powerful magnetic force and an additional positioning clip. This makes it more than ready for high-intensity scenarios. It's also easy to detach and flexible enough to quickly switch up locations and accessories.
The horizontal-vertical protective frame lets you switch things up and shoot vertically within seconds. Just detach it, turn it, and reattach it.
The camera body is fully optimized to be used at depths of up to 52', enhancing your
underwater adventures without the need for additional accessories.
The front screen, rear screen, and lens protective cover are all made with high-strength Gorilla Glass, which is not only wear and scratch resistant, but also drop resistant up to 4.9'. These three spots feature hydrophobic coating, which repels water quickly without affecting image quality.
The Osmo Action 3 doesn't just handle cold weather, it allows you to continuously record for up to 150 minutes in temperatures as low as -4°F. The battery capacity limits have been pushed even further with the Osmo Action 3 to allow 2.5+ hours of use. Capture entire adventures all on a single charge.
The Osmo Action 3 natively supports fast-charge technology. In just 18 minutes, it can be powered up to 80%, which is enough for approximately two hours of shooting.
A new-generation intelligent stabilization algorithm fuels the latest version of RockSteady EIS, which can effectively eliminate camera shake in all directions. It supports use while recording at up to 4K120, providing a stable and immersive first-person perspective.
This smart stabilization feature helps to eliminate camera shake in all directions, and even horizontally corrects tilt at any angle. That means footage can remain horizontally level, even through heavy bumps and 360° rotations. In addition, you can activate HorizonBalancing, which corrects the tilt horizontally within ±45° and supports recording stable 4K60 videos.
The front screen is convenient for vlogging and framing selfies and supports commonly used touch control functions. No more turning the camera around for parameter adjustments, mode switching, or video playback. When the camera is switched between horizontal and vertical orientations, the user interface adapts accordingly. The touchscreens are also sensitive enough to be operated easily with wet hands.
Intuitive control, even if you can't see the screens. Short press the Quick Switch button and the camera will voice broadcast the current shooting mode. Even if the camera is installed on a helmet or other hard-to-see location, you can accurately select the required mode and be confident you'll never miss the moment you want to record. You can even add up to five sets of custom parameters to the shooting mode list.
Remotely control your camera with just your voice. Ideal for scenarios where your hands are busy, the Action 3 recognizes voice commands with a high recognition rate, letting you stay locked into the moment.
Exceptional audio performance means more immersive results. Reception direction can be adjusted for more targeted and accurate sound recording. A hidden microphone at the bottom of the Action 3 even suppresses wind noise, giving you more audio-recording confidence in windy or high-speed scenarios.
The Action 3 is compatible with the optional DJI Mic, which is portable, easy to mount, and features a transmission distance of up to 820'. The camera can also connect to other external microphones via the universal 3.5mm connector.
The Osmo Action 3 can be used as a webcam for a more dynamic communication experience. Whether for meetings, classes, or just chatting with friends, easily switch between multiple perspectives and use the stereo sound for clearer conversations.
The DJI Mimo app unlocks the power of your smartphone to get the most out of the Osmo Action 3. It uses cloud computing and AI algorithms to eliminate the selfie stick for skiing and snowboarding scenarios, giving you breathtaking footage that looks like it was shot by a pro.
The Osmo Action 3 supports livestream platforms and multiple resolutions for you to choose from. Connect with your world face-to-face at any time, and even record your livestream footage.
The LightCut video editor app is thoroughly optimized for use with the Action 3. It can automatically select clips and intelligently match them with exclusive templates to generate ready-to-share video edits.
LightCut supports a direct connection with the Action 3 for quick, convenient footage previews. After shooting, simply let the AI select your highlight moments and generate 4K HD videos.
