The Tokina Opera 50mm F1.4 FF is designed for high-performance full-frame DSLR cameras. It accommodates sophisticated lens engineering and electronic design to meet the needs of up to date photography. It is equipped with ring shaped ultrasonic motors for fast and quiet operations. It also comes with Tokina’s ELR lens coating and weather sealing technology.
The optical construction of the lens includes 3 lens elements that are moulded from a SD (Super-low dispersion) glass and an aspherical glass element in the rear-center of attention lens groups. This sophisticated construction of the lens is effective in surpassing the chromatic aberrations and helps in achieving sharp edge-to-edge images at all apertures. It is composed of a 9-blade, round shaped diaphragm to capture naturally beautiful Bokeh.
The lens carries Tokina’s ELR (Extremely Low Reflection) coating to specifically target the visible light spectrum that may enter and pass through the lens. This sophisticated coating reduces the reflection ratio, ghosting and flare. This can also be an ideal lens configuration whilst shooting under challenging lighting conditions, such as the presence of a strong and bright light source within the image. The lens also utilises dust resistant and weather sealing construction in 8 areas which are most at risk of dust and water penetration. This lens is built to resist harsh and adverse weather conditions.
The lens depends on high speed, ring shaped ultrasonic motor to verify fast and precise AF mode. It is with reference to silent and acts as a low noise and swift photography tool. The hooded filter in the lens is equipped with a special filter window. On removal of the window from the hood, users can get admission to the filter to rotate the polariser or any other rotation type filters.
